Thanks to the COMMON project<\/strong>, it is now possible to focus on a responsible school model<\/strong>, in line with an increasingly sustainable development that is attentive to environmental issues. The team of researchers of the Institut National des Sciences et Technologies de la Mer<\/a>,<\/strong> a COMMON project <\/a>partner, has officially launched a series of training aimed at promoting an eco-responsible school model through training for principals, managers and teachers who work in schools and colleges in the governorate of Monastir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training was divided into two days: the first provided the future frames of environmental projects conducted by school children. The second day of training was instead dedicated to practical workshops on the implementation of action plans, to the presentation of the various teaching aids and tools for the training of pupils and schoolchildren, and, finally, to the evaluation and distribution of participation certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also an opportunity to officially launch the \u201cWe Are All Med Schools Vs Marine Litter<\/a>\u201d competition<\/strong>, a contest that falls within the scope of the COMMON project and which was launched in Italy by the NGO Legambiente Festambiente and for the purpose to sensitize schools on issues related to marine litter in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teachers agreed to participate very enthusiastically in the program and were directly involved in the exchange of information and experience data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to Sana Zarad and Mr. Farid Limam, the representatives of the regional education commission in Monastir for their invaluable help and excellent collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
